Vivek Vasudev Pai, MBBS, DVD, FCGP, FAMSc, is Director of the Bombay Leprosy Project and a renowned dermatologist and leprologist with over three decades of experience in clinical practice, research, and medical education.

He has authored more than 200 scientific publications and contributed chapters to leading dermatology and leprosy textbooks. His expertise includes leprosy, community dermatology, clinical research, and public health.

He has served in advisory and leadership roles with the World Health Organization (WHO), the National Leprosy Eradication Programme (NLEP), the Indian Association of Dermatology, Venereology and Leprology (IADVL), and the Indian Association of Leprologists (IAL). His contributions have been recognized with several national and international awards for excellence in dermatology and leprosy.
